Yes the baby kitty lived. I gave it to my best friend and she still has him. he needed some surgery done on his eye, since it was deformed, but he's happy and healthy to this day! Thanks for asking!

Hello There
Just wanted to say thanks for the Favs. Happy you like them. Your kitty is gorgeous too, I have two rascals of my own, one black shorthair who is 17yo and a black part-Persian medium hair who is 7yo... they are both wonderful critters.
Hope you're having a nice day.

I don't mind at all, thank you very much!! The fall is a great time of year, although that usually means that I have to change to colour film to get the full effect

I like BW and Sephia myself. Gives an effect, like, its freezing it in time (historically) and making that fact crystal clear to the viewer.

I love that effect as well. I think that my fav to work with though is B&W Infrared, it just gives the most beautiful effects in the summer time...

is that the glow effect that your picture have?

w2photographytoronto In reply to luverlypapi [2004-07-17 01:07:27 +0000 UTC]
yes that's exactly it. It turns foliage white, and gives a really dreamy almost surrel quality to the picture.

hmm. Nice! I thought it was enhanced.
what type of camera are you using and is it an added filter?
π: 0 β©: 1
w2photographytoronto In reply to luverlypapi [2004-07-18 15:23:44 +0000 UTC]
I use a Nikon F3, wihout a filter for the most part, except for the infrared stuff then I use a No. 25 red filter to cut out the red lightwaves.

So youβre old school with using actual film. Interesting!
Do you develop your own film or have it processed?
What's held you back from going digital?
Papi

w2photographytoronto In reply to luverlypapi [2004-07-19 01:59:08 +0000 UTC]
I actually have a digital, but it's not an SLR, so it doesn't really have the flexability that I am looking for. I usually have my film processed, usually at Toronto Black and WHite, although I am looking for somewhere a little closer to where I am.
What type of camera do you use?
π: 0 β©: 1
luverlypapi In reply to w2photographytoronto [2004-07-19 13:05:48 +0000 UTC]
I'm using a Canon Power Shot A40. My first digital. It still takes some really great pics, and I can attach other sized zoom lenses to it as well as filters, however to buy these Accessories I might as well just go by a new ISO Camera camera like a G5 or Canon Rebel Ooooh how I would love to do that. Some women like to spend countless hours drooling over the jewelry counter I spend mine drooling over the Cameras at Future Shop.

Luaghs,
I know eactly how you feel. If I could I would run out today and pickup the new Nikon D-70, but alas my pocket book won't allow for such things right now...

You'd be surprised. Thereβs a saying; βone mans garbage is anotherβs treasureβ.
There are always contests and stuff going on. My dad entered one a few years ago; it was to be featured in some type of picture book. I donβt think he βactuallyβ won anything other than being featured, but Iβm sure there is something out there. Though, easier said then done, right! Otherwise I would have done it myself. Ha!
Anyhow, I noticed something about your deviantsβ¦. Youβre lacking in new photography. You should update sometime soon.
Christina

Laughs, I think that I got entered into the same contest, it was [link] or something.
I know, I know, I just haven't taken anything that I have felt good enough to post lately. I really need to get out and take some new pictures, plus get the roll in my camera developed
