well its a few years - can you remember if you enjoyed it? LOL Tony and sarah went to see Jeff Dunham the other night and had a blast. I honestly dont know much about the Dubliners - though I know where Ronnie Drew is buried ( about 6 miles away from us in Greystones VIllage)

the concert was great! they really brought up all the atmosphere, and i liked the choice of songs they played! i found out that james's girlfriend is croatian and that she manages his concerts here in croatia! what a nice way of promotion!

tried to talk to the bassist and the rest of the band but, firstly, i was pretty drunk at a time, and, secondly, the music that the dj put was way too loud... so, as i was on my slow and swaggering walk towards the exit of the club, i ran into james, who tried to sell me their live from their concert in germany... i tried to explain to him that i was broke at that time, so i couldn't buy the cd (as much as i wanted to) and that i just wanted to tell him how a great show they made. james then just shoved the cd in my hands, we shook hands and that was it! a great guy, but i think he wasn't really much sober as well...

glad you liked the gig. Its a LONG time since I was at any - but TOny is making up for that himself ( and Sarah) check out Niall COnnolly on Facebook - he is a friend of ours going way back 20 *cough years when herself was a sprog. He'll freak when he sees how she's grown..
He is very BOB DYLAN-ish - but with an Irish twist.

LOL guys are used to people coming up to them drunk - they just laugh it off.... its been  lol DId you buy the cd in the mean time?

well, im not sure if i managed to tell him that i was broke... oddly enough, my english is good in writing and in speaking with non-english speaking people, but when i speak with somebody whose english is native language... well, i guess i become a bit nervous... plus the alcohol

i remember alright. i rarely have memory holes after being drunk

I have a few foreign pals who I write to their english is excellent as they write - as soon as I meet them, they are struggling for words - cos they havent time to THINK the sentences out.

alcohol for me would probably ENHANCE my pronounciation
