Walking on air... feeling fabulous, all is well when there are <3s! *dances* A fresh start, a new <3, a beginning.
Both excited and terrified, lol
Amazing that I can feel this way when I accidentally missed my exam due to sleep deprivation and copped an AU$105 parking fine... for parking just a liiiiittle too close to the intersection... In a bloody residential stree.
No time to dwell!!! Time to be happy ^_^
*panda floats*

Well, I finally got through this year. 9 days of pure, solid work, 10am til 4am each day, minus one day where I worked from 10am til 12am. Seriously, my back, wrists, hips, and neck were very sore, depsite proper posture, a gel wrist pad and highest mouse speed possible. Total nightmare. When one thing was submitted, the next thing wasn't far behind. Let us put that misery behind me now and focus on a) getting one more exam done b) moving back to yea and c) holidaying with my bestest buddy in the world, up in Queensland to meet some other friendlies and have a rockin NYE
So please do enjoy the rendering of Salvador Dali's famous painting "The persistence of memory", they could be much more refined, but certainly a lot of tears went into that work. Not easy trying to get lighting correct at 5am, 5 hours before it's due.

Alright!
I've started with Maya 6.5 (finally). We've been learning modelling techniques for the past 8 weeks, and we've just moved on to materials. My next submission will be a close up rendering of a stopwatch with ants on it as per Salvador Dali's "Persistence of Memory". it's for an assignment, and I just thought I'd submit this little surprisingly cool offshoot rendering that turned out different to what I expected...
Coming up too: some clouds that I took in the country (v. beautiful!)
Ta guys

Hey
My latest submission titled Metal Kitty has not shown up in my gallery yet, argh! I submitted it about 3 hours ago if you want to go hunting for it (it's one of the cleanest works in my gallery, all of my early stuff was painted whereas I started using photoshop recently so I've been able to take advantage of filters and graphic styles).
Check back tomorrow and see if my latest one has rocked up in my gallery yet, don't know what the hell takes so long :S

Well folks, I'm back from doing sh!t all for a long, long spell now and beginning to warm up to photoshop and illustrator. Yay for graphic styles!
By next year I should be on to 3Ds Max. Hoping to do some more traditional stuff like b&w photography over the break, and perhaps some painting. I'll submit the lastest impressionist-style painting next time to show you all that even the digital artist needs to keep broad in practice in order to gather new inspiration and skill...

Ummmm... Clothed? I'm the artist myself so therefore bio style pics only I will eventually post a picture of myself here. My laziness astounds even myself.
I looked at your gallery. Never have I seen anatomy and bodies more beautifully displayed. Shame there are so many prudes out there. Your work should be everywhere.
Love it love it love it and can't wait to see more. No I am not perverted, I just think that the human body is aesthetically, one of the most beautiful things in existence. Especially hip bones, which is why i added your art to my fav's.
I swear I'm not perverted, I swear

i meant no disrespect by asking for pictures of you and i wouldnt assume theyd be unclothed, i, just as you, enjoy human bodies clothed or unclothed. i didnt think you were perverted but everybody does have a sexual side to them. its nature. dont be defensive about it. i enjoy stomachs and hip bones as well so many more peices are coming.

Should check out the work of Ron Mueck. Maybe not portraying the body romantically but realistically, and it's beautiful work in an unglier way. He does 3D stuff (not sure what he uses but it's not wax, at lesat that's what I read)

lol, I didn't mean to come across as defensive, I was having a dig at you because of the nature of your work It's hard to know how people are saying things in text, that's for sure

Hey, no prob! I loved that pic of your when I viewed it.. Very cute and very stylised.
It's funny- I was bad with colour until Istarted doing digital stuff. I have trouble mixing paint or I can't re-lighten if I've darkened an area too much... Computer saves the day, yay! When I learnt how to use the computer to do my art, I took advantage of the readily-available colour range.
Big eyes are CUTE!
thanks for the comment
