Mandylynn-
You said in your comment that you were looking for some tips and criticism, so ... 'ello. Here I am. I have to tell you that you have a lovely gallery here, and what looks like the basis for a very nice 'folio.
Couple of questions for you, if you want my help:
###It IS ok with you if I am brutally honest, yes? (I'm not always a very tactful person by nature, and if I see something that could use some attention, I'm not much good at pussyfooting around with things. Hopeless case, really. lol)
###Are you looking more for critiques on individual pieces or on your portfolio material as a whole? If it's the individual pieces, are there any specific ones you are struggling with?
###If it's the portfolio, what kind of portfolio are you trying to put together? Who is the intended viewer? What skills and mediums do you really want to focus on and showcase?
Leme know what you are thinking, and if you are interested in my humble opinions we can take things from there. I look forward to helping in any way I can!
-Sarah

ure id be glad to hear your opinions! i know i have to pay closer attention to detail but alot of my works right now are just things ive been doing to pass the time during a bit of a block. im doing a portfolio for entence into a fine arts school, possibly emily carr, ocad or nscad

Hmm, ok. It's taking me a little while to carefully examine all the pieces and consider the gallery as a whole, so I'll start forming feedback as I go. I will admit, I have not submitted a portfolio to any of those schools myself, but I'll do my best! Are there any specific pieces you are sure that you are going to submit? And what are the exact parameters of the portfolios for those schools?

you could be too! watercolours are not as difficult as they seem! I use masking and i pour paint right onto the paper and for the snow flakes falling behind the birds i used salt, Once you get to know tricks and the medium things can be alot simpler!

Well, I'm taking a drawing class in highschool, and my teacher has us use a lot of different styles, so... If I do something unique, I'll upload it.

Thats not a bad thing, i didnt really get into alot of mediums until about that age so no worries, i m not sure what your art program is like, but in ours it was all technical until we got to grade twelve, where we're offered alot ore freedom
