Thank you, much appreciated. The cameras I use often change but most were either the Canon 5D mark2 or what Im using now which is the 80D. For the extreme close up stuff I use the Canon mp-e 65mm and for general a 100mm macro with a raynox 250. I use a couple cheap flashes with make shift diffusers and have done most stacks with a manual rail off ebay. I have just upgrade though to RS-90P rail mainly for saving time. Hope this helps

Honestly the stacked images aren't hard to do, you'll get it in no time. Only tricky part is getting the right amount diffusing of the lights which is something Im still working on. Getting good natural shots in nature is much more difficult. Best of luck

I find relaxing and funny to draw scales and when they come out properly i am always satisfied^^ recentely i found a dead female grass snake (Natrix natrix) and i could appreciate the scales, the distance between blotches, the colour. I am always sad when i find a snake dead not by natural causes, she was a juvenile but i am happy at the same time to study them so closely.

John, I found you from ProjectPorkchop vol435 where I was featured too. I just +watched you. The insects in micro are so exciting... You are probably the most interesting profile from the 22 I'm watching at the time.

Thank you for the watch.
I used to have some house spiders as "pets". I love studying them, keeping notes and taking photos and videos of them. Each time I visit your page I can't believe how high is the resolution and how awesome all those great details. I never thought I would find such an interesting profile in da.
Maybe I'm overreacting but I had to say it...

Holy crap,Mr. Colledge, thank you so much for all those faves and the watch!
It really boosts me up to see someone liking my work that much, especially when it's someone who's an appreciated artist himself, working with cool, interesting stuff (insects and macro photos in general).
That gives me the feeling I'm on the right path, somehow.
