I know this will come as a shock to you, but I honestly don't think you're a bad person. You're just terribly misguided. You seem to take feminist ideas at face value, and you do have an anti-male bias. I don't know what horrible thing a man might have done to you to make you feel that way, but I'm sorry it did. Just remember, one man's misdeeds does not condemn men as a whole; the same goes for women.

I appreciate the sentiment, and I don't mean that sarcastically at all; but honestly it came across as patronizing for the most part... Believe it or not, and I say this with complete honesty, no man has ever done anything to seriously harm me physically or emotionally. I've been telling you the truth this whole time, this is a broad issue of oppression, it's not some personal vendetta. It's an issue close to my heart because I am a woman, not because any man has personally attacked me or damaged my life. Honestly and truly, I don't and have never had anything at all against men. I'm not taking 'feminist ideals' at face value, I've researched quite a bit into the matter, but my views are primarily based not on studies or statistics (although there are enough to support my views, certainly) but on what I and my female friends and family can see around us every day. I think it's you who's misguided and unwilling to see the truth of the matter.
I would ask that you not bring this discussion onto my profile page, though; I'd rather not discuss the issue more with you, since it's not getting either of us anywhere.
