Thank you. It's just been one year for me so still a work in progress. I checked out your gallery and I really like what you do too! I'm an older man but very interested in graphic design, which I may have an opportunity to go to school for. Keep up the good work

Szia "Tom" Yes I'm Hungarian but I was born and raised here so I don't speak and write well at all. I've run across you before with your shot of the painters hands. I think I may have commented on it too. Anyway, good to run into you again. Nice work your doing Looking forward to watching now.

Hey! I stumbled across your page because I saw your comment on the group EOSPhotography's page about your work being declined. I commend you! : ] I only went to that page to see why my work had been declined as well, and that is when I saw your comment. I felt empowered and also left the group after reading that conversation and seeing how rude that guy is. I for one am not in the mood to be treated that way by some 16 year old kid who looks like Justin Bieber. So I say thank you, sir, for putting that punk where he belongs! And may both of our deviantart pages prosper from the lack of that group!
Have a good day!
And your dog is adorable. :3

Hey, thank you very much for that. The funny thing is, and it doesn't mean I'm not sincere in what I said, but that photo probably got more attention because of that incident than it would have if they accepted it. It reminded me about a time in the 80's when Donny Osmonds agents where suggesting to him to go out and cause some trouble, even get arrested, in order to promote his career. I guess it's true that any publicity is good publicity!

Ah, you're welcome! Haha, good! I'm glad it's getting more attention than it had if it had been accepted. And it's how it should be. : ]

Looks to me that our setup is virtually the same. you mentioned my colors being more vivid. i was looking at your settings and for one bump up your apature to around 11 and 18. that helps alot.

Another tool i use is HDR. now, HDR is very good but it can be used to much for sure so use it sparingly. This is a guy i watch and he gets some very good stuff. however, i think he uses it to much. [link]

I agree, less is more. I'm still new and I'm trying to discipline myself to the basics of setting and composition, etc, and simple editing.

lol, thats good just stick with t. i used to draw a lot and got burned out on it. a lot of work into my drawings. i still get the artistic side but more instantly gratifying. i bought my camera as something new to try and off and running i went. i wish i would have found it years ago.i love photography and all you can do with it. when the human race is gone a lot of the digital imagery will still be around somewhere so it would be a window to our world. or, at least i like to think so.....

I've been wanting an DSLR for some time now but the price range was always out of reach and it always found itself too low on the priority list. I like my XS. It's the same processor as the high ends and the pixel rate is great for what I do. It's like any instrument. You don't go out and by and American Stratocaster or Les Paul before you learn some chords at least. Now I need a tripod.
