# About me
I'm an artist/writer whose ideas come unbidden, most of which then leave if she decides to do something with them. Feel free to steal some of the unused ones (though not my art!) and please check out my fanfictions at www.fanfiction.net/u/2416704/mβ¦Legend of Zelda is my life, though I'm also addicted to Avalon Code, Portal, and Okami. I fangirl over Vaati, Shadow Link, Waka, Kurow, Near, innocent!Light, Rex, Ur, and Wheatley. I'll support any pairing, so long as it works without making the characters OoC.
My favorite music (like my favorite color) changes with my mood.
If you're here because I've offended you somehow, I'm very sorry. I was probably trying to be funny, or overtired, or both. Let me know, and I'll make a public apology.
I've recently decided to start taking commisions. I have so little free time, but I need to be drawing again. Send me a Note, with either a description or a [link] to a place where I can find a description, and I'll draw it. "Points" would be nice, but I'm mainly doing it for the pictures and practice.
...And if you read all that, you get a Pocky

After browsing through your gallery, I notice that sometimes, you have an okay grasp on anatomy, but otherwise, it's really wonky, in some of your pieces, your art ends up looking like one arm is longer than the other.
I would suggest looking up simple anatomy tutorials to improve.
As for your traditional pieces, the coloring seems very... well, sloppy, and there is no definable light source.
Your poses are somewhat complicated, which is a good thing, but I think what throws you off the most in your gallery is your arms, because they're usually longer than they're supposed to be.
Something about your gallery that also needs to be pointed out is your light sourcing and line art. The light source is sometimes completely non-existent, and the lines are really jagged and rough.
Well, I hope I helped you. Keep practicing!

Excuse me, while I do welcome critiques on my art, this feels a bit harsh. I'm working on my anatomy, but I feel like, because I do stick to mainly flat shading (hence the lack of lightsource) it makes it a bit harder to tell when something is going back in space. I don't post something until I'm either A: too fed up to fiddle with it anymore, or B: happy with it.
I believe the reason you come off as harsh is because I haven't asked for advice on my profile; I've asked for it on my art, and I believe that is where it should stay. If you were to go to a piece of my art and tell me what seemed off about it, as well as making recommendations for how to fix it (I've looked at more tutorials than you'd believe, honey; they mostly don't help.) I'd be more open to it. my lines are also jagged because I either A: draw with a touchpad-mouse on my laptop, or B: draw traditional and scan it, and those are just consequences of those methods. I do not own a tablet, and my scanner isn't the best, so things get effed up.
I'd recommend using the sandwich method for your critiques: A genuinely good thing about it, then something to fix, then another good thing. Genuine. language like "okay, but..." feels forced and hostile. I know my own response probably feels hostile, because of my use of language, phrasing, and the fact I haven't said much good about your critique. It feels more like a criticism, doesn't it?

I am; it just...frustrates me, when people give a criticism and call it a critique. Also the "it could always be worse!" card....

Eh, I get the feeling I didn't help much. Kinda just stuck my nose into it. Did you ever reply to her other comment? Or did what I say sound stupid?

No, you're being sensible...and no, I didn't reply. I tried to talk to her in another comment chain, and well...that conversation wasn't going to go anywhere.

You're getting mad because I gave you a critique based on the entirety of your gallery, I made a generalized observation, since all of your work seems to fit into it.
And I fail to see how I was harsh, if I was harsh, I could have made it so that it looked like a flat-out flame. And that is a lie, they do help, I've used them.
You're making excuses, I've drawn on a touchpad with the mouse before, and I also draw using traditional means as well, so neither are excuses.
Having a tablet does not make your art the best, I speak from experience.
I was being very honest with your work...

Mmm...there's a comment section under the gallery as well, ya know. If you're going to make a generalizing critique, that'd be the place ta do it.
Also, that wasn't meant to sound condescending. 'twas only informing you. Is all that really worth arguing about? Is it really that important to you? Again, I apologize in advance if any of this sounds...err...hostile.

Ah, I do apologize, I just thought I'd point out it's there. I meant no disrespect, I assure you. And last I checked, the horse wasn't quite dead yet. Just trying to guide it to greener pastures, really. Failing a little too, it seems. Tsk, 'twas a good horse, I'll give it that.
As for who I am, I'm ArchShadow24/Cory/Smartass. Any of the three are true, really. XD Or if you prefer, unintentional annoyance. I seem to get that one quite a lot with people who find my company unsavory.
