Actually, I originally was going to have American Psycho on this stamp, but I wasn't sure of its popularity. The film itself was banned in places, too, so I'm sure how well an audience is aware of its book/film exposure.

what the film was banned in some countrys???? in germany here its really hard to get violent movies like dawn of the living dead or midnight meat train theyre both banned for example but american psycho only got an slight r rating like its called fsk 16........

That's SOOOO strange. Dawn of the Dead and Midnight Meat Train had a general release here in US cinemas, but American Psycho was released in smaller, rarer independent cinemas, if it got a release at all. Most were introduced to American Psycho through the DVDs exclusively.

I was only able to get an uncensored/unedited version of LOLITA (1997) from Switzerland. Did you enjoy MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN?

The 1997 version with Jeremy Irons or the more subversive 1962 version with James Mason of LOLITA? There's a HUGE difference between the two.
True, true... I wonder about the HELLRAISER franchise. I have a great love for it. Now with the reboot on its way, I wonder if will even be shown in some countries.

I think it's funny that so many people are knocking the new Pinhead look. The original Pinhead, from the Hellbound Heart, didn't even have pins on him. He was covered in an intricate design of tattoos.

That is a sketch from a deleted scene from the second film, HELLRAISER: HELLBOUND, which Barker produced. The scene consisted of Pinhead and DeepThroat in surgery gear, removing skin off the Chatterer's face to reveal eyes. This is why Chatterer has eyes in their final scene against Dr. Channard: [link] (surgery scene) , [link] (no eyes) , [link] (with eyes)

I have a drawing of Tattoo Cenobite by Barker...somewhere in my collection. The character made it to the HELLRAISER comics at one point, but as an obese character who drew history on his skin.
HELLBOUND is definitely one of the best sequels from the franchise. I have a great love for HELLSEEKER, too. Oh, Pinhead, just admit you love Kirsty...

yeah i like the hellraiser comicbooks, cuold you upload the picture of the tattoed cenobite please? :3
yes i admit, but to be honest, after part 2 the hellraiser franchise got screwed. part 3 was some kind of ok, but forgot the rules, and everything after this, except hellseeker which was very tense and thrilling, is crap.

I wish I could. I have to search for the book. I can scan the obese comic book tattoo guy. It's a nice story about Pinhead going to trial in Hell.
HELL ON EARTH had a lot of problems. The actress who played Kirsty wasn't able to return for the third film, so the character of Kirsty was changed to Joey and, according to the screenwriter, it was going to be the movie where Pinhead-Kirsty "romance" would have been "consummated."

Yeah, I agree that the franchise needs to be "fixed". That was my same opinion with NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET reboot. It lost its way for so many years and, if there was ever a franchise that needed to be changed, that was one. I was one of the few who felt this way.
