I use the Zeiss ZF-1002T F/2 and the Tamron 90mm F/2.8 for the macro work, but a lot of my close-up work is also done with the Sigma 50mm F/1.4 and the Nikon 58mm F/1.2 Noct.

hehe, Nikon is pretty good to you, if you give it some good glass. Never get the kit lens

Snow is one thing I don't miss. I lived in Austria before moving to California, and we had our share of bad (and cold) weather - stuff I am happy I can put behind me

It reminds me why not all pics should be noise-free and cleaned-up into oblivion. Sometimes imperfect is just good. Great work on sharpness.
