hey mate, congrats on the SSC'10 win and all the great shots that came out of it, I don't know if there is some way to pass it on to everyone but I'd like to do a :iconDitchfault: feature on all the shots from the comp that are on DA. if thats alright that is?

I didn't leave for any other reason than I was sick of getting all the group messages in my inbox...if dA changed that system so the messages came to separate spots (so I don't think I have a personal message when I really only have a group message), I'd join right back up. If WSC ever starts back up, I'll definitely continue to judge it as well.

yeh all I've managed to do is unwatch the groups I've joined as contributor what not. For example in your group of friends just uncheck the watching journals etc for DitchDefault group. Its worked for me, but I'm not sure if there is still stuff that annoys you like the group messages

Dude, you should totally teach me all about fonts and stuff, you're always harping on them in a good way and I need to brush up on that. Any stuff I can read on?

well, some of the fonts you've chosen to use on your shots just aren't among my personal favorites, but they're never really that bad. i could try suggesting specific a font for a shot you have in mind though.

on that shot, i just thought calibri was a little too 'serif' compared to the rest of the design elements that went into the shot as a whole. i think a sans-serif font like arial 7pt, or maybe something like helvetica condensed 9pt (i can send you the version i used in this shot if you'd like) would look great. a nice pixel font either from that site or another one you know of wouldn't lookd bad either.
and yes, ssc 10 is on and pf will be hosting. read paragraph 5 here .

bonafied lovin i definitely don't have anymore, i think it was lost in a crash. noxio.us i might eventually release, and it's since been modded to be fairly different than what the screenshot shows, so i'm afraid i can't share it either. if you'd like some pointers as to how i made any of the aspects of either vs, let me know and i can try to give you some pointers for stylebuilder.

it seems contributors can only submit to featured... that kind of messes things up a bit, because I was hoping to get people onboard with different expertise to 
You obviously have a great knowledge of "classic screenshots" and you've added heaps, just a shame you can't add them straight in
I'll have a look through yours, so far I've been taking most screenshots from 2007 and before and placing them in classic, but there may need to be a better way to split them up

Yeah, I always thought classic screenshots could come from any time, but I understand the logic you're using. It's a shame that a lot of the great shots I know of on custo don't have a dA equivalent. I was thinking we could maybe have a thread or a journal post or something where we could link to shots that are only hosted off site. It'd also be nice if we could get someone that's even more old school than myself to contribute. I'll probably post on GSM or PF about that.
