I'm good. Been really busy with work though. I really hate Common Core. *sigh*
Well, I don't hate it, more like I don't like the fact that they want teachers to implement it without the proper resources and support.

As in freelance crazy starving artist jump. Lol. But I'm doing good. I have a FB/Instagram/twitter out of necessity. But I'm building my portfolio website concurrently. FB lists all my events. I'm so bad at updating DA. -_-

U don't know what Commin Core is but if you hate it, I do too! I do hate the frustration that can come from lack of resources with regards to any situation in general though, especially ehen it comes to work!

I don't have a FB so I can't really follow you there. Plus you haven't posted any of those sites on DA, so I have no idea what they are. It's good though that you are doing well freelancing. I should've commissioned you to draw something when I had the chance. haha.

I'm actually surprised you haven't heard of it. It's all over the place with people hating on it, the Republicans trying to get rid of it (not like they have any good back-up plans), and parents really frustrated with it. In reality, I don't hate it. I just hate the "figure it out on your own" part. There really isn't many good books out there. And the few that seem ok (for this type of teaching) are being criticized by the teachers who want to remain the same. So much inner politics in my job. *sigh*
