Llamas are free badges you can hand out. They don't really have a specific function :) (Smile) They're just fun

You can use them to show someone appreciation, for example to thank them for a fave or a comment, or if you like their work. They're also a good way to get people to have a look at your account. The appearance of your llama changes the more llamas you get. A lot of people on DA collect them, they're even willing to give points in exchange for llamas.
