# About me
Greetings Everyone,I am a metal art maker of swords, chalices, canes and other artifacts
executed in precious metals, bronze, steel and exotic woods. All of my pieces
are entirely hand made and unconditionally one of a kind. They are conceptually
inspired by subjects of history and themes of classic literature.
Thank you one and all for allowing my presence within this community of
extraordinary artists.
Sincerely,
Nick Verrechia

Thank you, nice to be aboard. I have to warn you though
I've been a Viking, at least in spirit, since my father brought
us to the drive-in to see "The Vikings" with Curt Douglas
when it first came out.

No warning is required. In this group being a Viking is expected and considered a good thing.
ps. That would be Kirk Douglas, wouldn't it?

I stand ashamed and corrected. Just to make up
I think I'll invade Spain.

Poor Spain.
I actually watch the movie on Youtube yesterday. Not bad at all. So thanks for the tip on that.

My favorite parts in that movie were the Viking funeral at the end
with the music and flaming arrors and Janet leigh's gravity defying
bossom.

All good things.
I liked the walking on the oars a lot. That Kirk did the stunt himself, and that he obviously enjoyed it.
I also liked that they got a team together that really could row the boats. They looked great.
The boats looked fine, but the sails where the wrong material, much to thin and billowing (which is good for a sail but wrong for the materials of the time, I believe).
