Banpai Akira? You mean the artist behind the Touhouvania series? If not, you may have to state it for me, as I'm quite dull at times.

Once again, you're right on the dot.
BanPai Akira is the pen-name of the guy who did all the concept art for the Touhouvania series. Of course, he started drawing Touhou -before- the conception of the series, but that's where he found the most fame.
So rest easy, you're not dull at all!

Oh, whew. Yes, I do actually have a fondness for his work on the Touhouvania series. I've gone through and beaten the second game. Sadly, I had to be beat Remilia on Easy because I just couldn't beat her on Normal. I progressed through the rest of the game on Normal though. The art for the girls is really, really great. It's too bad I haven't been able to come across more renders and such for them.

BanPai Akira is something else.
I first came across him from the work he's done with Vocaloids. And it really surprised me to see the similarities of his work with another artist that I liked (The person who did artwork for the recent Castlevania series). So I was really delighted to see that he was chosen as the person behind the artistic design for the Touhouvania series. Very fitting, I think; very fitting indeed.
I haven't had a chance to play the games myself, I am afraid. I have the first game on my computer but simply don't have the time to buckle down to play it. It's nice to hear that you've beat both games, though. How do you think of the game-play?

I haven't played much of the first, and I have a link if you wish to retrieve them for your playing pleasure.
The second one, the game play for it was very nice and smooth, and played like a Castlevania game. Although I'm not used to the Castlevania games as I am the "Metroidvania" games, I can still say this game satisfied a thirst that I have for the Castlevania games. If you want that link still, let me know.

I'm glad to hear that the game mechanics worked out well for the game. I have seen a friend of mine play a demo version of the first game a while back. Some of the game mechanics weren't as smooth and seamless as one would expect. Of course, that was only a demo and I thought that since it was a fan-made game, we can't really compare it to the full studio productions. But thanks to you... it's great to know that not only have some of the bugs been figured out but the quality matches big-company productions. That's very exciting news, indeed.

"Cirno Training" is a small flash game. The basis is simple, you are given a simple math question to do as if you were Cirno. And since you -are- Cirno (or training to be like Cirno), your answer as to be the wrong one... unless the correct answer is 9. [link]
It may sound easy, but it gets harder and harder as you go along. But... really addictive.
