I'm a self-taught digital painter and photographer. My main focus is on horses (as you can probably tell!) but I sometimes branch out to other animals or fanart. My art is a hobby; though I do take some commissions my main reason for drawing is simple: it's fun. :)
I'm also an avid writer and have been working on a fantasy novel series for several years now. Currently 300+ pages into book 2! I usually don't post any book-related art on here but you'll often hear me mention it in my journal.
I've been riding English for years with an interest in dressage, but I also think western multi-day trail rides in the mountains are awesome. I'll ride the backcountry every chance I get. My favorite saddle style would have to be Australian, they seem to combine the best of both English and Western. If I own a horse someday, that's probably what I'll get.
Outside of my art life, I'm a biology student and work at an entomology lab (yay bugs!). I'm doing research on tobacco hornworms right now, they're funny little guys. But my favorite thing is fieldwork; I love being outside and enjoying nature.

Well, I lost my dog a few months ago and her birthday was this week. She would have been 12. Haven't been able to find another dog so I'm missing the puppy cuddles.
