# About me

Online Persona: Aleksander "Paladin" Storm
Alias: 'Stormhawk' (sigil represented in avatar)

Starting to accept I'm artistic. More focused on writing than drawing, but I apparently can draw. Most of my past artwork has been either concept work or technical sketches.

I once involved myself in a Forum RP for a webcomic ages past (you may have heard of the webcomic, still going last I heard... Megatokyo... I joined a faction in the 'fan' RP that was dedicated to the character Kimiko). Embarrassing things involving crushes and character imports from other fandoms eventually led me away (the imports were mine, and I don't have faith that they were good, either... Especially versions of Bab5 side-characters that had romantic involvement - Specifically Michael Garibaldi and an adapted version of Talia Winters partially based on an older character concept of mine named Andrea Frieze. This ties back into the following... In fact, many of the more important characters from my forum RP contributions did, as well as their abilities).

In the past, I had aspirations for creating a fictional world based on elemental psionic powers and colonialism in space (think The Expanse meets Avatar: The Last Airbender... though I was formulating it before either existed... also, lightning belongs with air, not fire, to my mind- ionized air streams and air friction and so forth).

On a recently-surfaced Pokemon obsession thanks to the adorable antics of Gardevoirs by talented artists and writers on DA, including RakkuGuy and his Airalin (and Serene the Shiny Kirlia), VOIDACCOU/XanderBludKain92 and his Rosa (MUST HAVE MORE CHRONO AND ROSA), and MurPloxy with Trainer Ben's Gardevoir (Eli/Elly/Ellie?). This has resulted in the starting of playing Pokemon for the first time, with Gen 3 and the raising of Ralts.

Trying to get back into writing, and kick my rear into gear to do it well. No idea if I'm succeeding, so far. Hopefully people are finding amusement in Filia and Alek's adventures and antics, but I certainly have no idea.

I'm more inclined to write things than to draw things, yes. (and finally figured out I could set myself as an 'artist' and then specify literature from there- resulting in my Hobbyist Writer label on comments, now  )
