Thank you again for the favorite. I read over your journal entry and, you know, I get the sense that what you have observed since the last time you painted it quite a bit, and you may be at a point where you're somewhat overwhelmed to put the brush to canvas, so to speak. It's all up there in the noggin, and the heart is roaring to let the paint fly, but the info needs to be processed by actually just letting the brush do the stroke.
There is alot that we take in, day by day; and if a visual artist, you are breaking down quite a bit in terms of form, function, composition, lighting, etc. Life is the best scrapbook to take from; there is alot there, and it usually takes time to just observe it properly, let alone (and most importantly) a willingness to practice, to just do the best with what you have been given, and to forge forward with pencil, pen, pallete and paint.
If you are stoked to paint once more, then no, that creativity is not dead. That is half of it, that excitement to want to create; if you exhibit that, and if you are moved by that to do your work, then the rest will fall into place with work and patience.
:]
