Wow, I wouldn't expect it to be 35 degrees either. Does it really get that cold up there? I went up to SF a little while back but it was fairly sunny, only cold during the night. UCLA's ok. A little lonely now that Stephie and I barely have any classes together, but I've discovered the joys of having hulu plus on my iPad and now X-files is my new best friend xD I'm a bit of a loner there, you can tell.

Yes, it does get to 35 degrees early in the morning and at night, but it's been getting unusually warmer since yesterday. It's 59 degrees today and that's pretty warm for us right now. Do you commute to UCLA? lol Don't worry about being a loner, you can always join clubs or something to meet new people. Davis sometimes feels a little too big and I haven't met as much people as I would have liked to but the again it is only our first year and we have many more people we have yet to meet!

I do commute to UCLA, that's part of why I'm a loner actually xD because all the clubs are in the evening and I work evenings, so the schedule just isn't right. But I don't really mind much being on my own anymore, since I'm finding botanical gardens and coffee shops on campus and discovering the joys of free wifi. I know what you mean about it feeling too big. Probably by the time I make some new friends it'll be time to graduate again xD I only have another year and a half. But it's ok, me and Stephie are still really tight and we hang out.

I'm really sorry you couldn't make it. We did miss you, but we don't blame you at all for not being there Yeah, I am trying to get into Stanford, but there's a lot of other places too so it's not that big of a deal if I don't make it. Plus I think lila's going to Pomona, not USC, even though she did get in.

I have no idea what song Caroline used to sing, but we learned this song in 4th grade when we were with Ms. Summers. It goes like "Stand on your tippy toes, wave your hands, and touch your nose. Stand on your tippy toes touch your hands and wave your nose." And then it goes "Move your feet like a chicken, flap your arms like a goose...(and this is where my memory starts failing)make your tummy do a wiggle, let your body hang loose?" and that's all I remember.

Lol yeah. I went under my covers cuz i was cold while I was waiting for you to respond. And then the warmth plus Cameron's singing resulted in my knocking out.

that's an awesome song. it sounds like it was intended to make kids look ridiculous. it reminds me of how i told you, I'm teaching Erin the chicken dance. she's so cute when she does the hand movements^^ right now we're at 25% completion. I think Caroline used to sing a song about tippy-tippy toes and then idk, something terrible happens at the end, like how something terrible happens at the end of all her kids songs.

oh yeah, the coldness in your room^^ my room's been a bit better, still cold, but alright. the first summer and winter after we moved in here, the temperatures were so extreme. i didn't even want to have sleepovers that summer because every time we did caroline and vave and i would just die of heat. that was before we were able to open the window that was painted shut.

i remember when we used to walk down the hallways in ninth grade and caroline would sing it in her best sing-song voice. i didn't know what all the words meant, so at first i didn't know that the pollito was getting tortured. when she explained it to me i started yelling at her not to sing it anymore. but now i think it's funny.

lol when i read hasta el infinito y más allá in my head i was like "toy story!" and then you said it was so yeah... that's true, though, you did watch it in spanish, huh. i'm used to "to infinity... and beyond!!"
