no i don't hate ipod, i just don't like them because 1. they are expensive. 2. I already have an mp3 player and it's been over almost 2 years since i had it (i don't want to let go of it). 3. I only want a music player, so why should i pay $300 for something that is so fragile, when i can buy 15 samsung mp3 at the same price. 4. most everyone who has them, just want to show it off.
I don't like things because a bunch of crowd likes it or doesn't. I am saying an ipod just isn't unique anymore as in most people who buy them, but it to show off. My friend got $200 mp4 and its the same as ipod touch, why would you wanna be stupid and buy something ridiculous like that. I like smeyer but i am not as a big fan of her as i was, i mean yeah i still get all hyped up for movies, so what? I don't find it hypocritical. My definition of unique is different then yours. Nothing is really unique in general to me. Everyone is same, but you can have ideas that are unique.

1. The price is subjective, to someone who has much money they aren't expensive.
2. That's just your personal experience, has nothing to with the question why you think they aren't "unique" enough.
3. That's just the first point rewarmed.
4. I have one, I don't want to show off with it; indeed, I use it to listen to music, and not to annoy other people with it. Maybe if you stopped trying to be oh so alternative and would try to accept that other people actually like things that happen to be popular doesn't mean that they are only doing it to be "trendy". And if we're already at it, one could easily accuse you of trying to be unique by defending things that are popular and also hated, because there were already enough people before you that did the same thing. So I would be cautious with such statements.
See, my point is not whether people who buy iPods are stupid (which is, by the way, a just as stupid generalisation), but that you want to be all unique and want to have your own opinion of things that is not at all influenced by others and are failing at it majorly.
You are a huge hypocrite because you attacked :devfuriwatchi23: for not liking a fandom anymore because it wasn't interesting to her anymore, but now you say you like Smeyer but not as much as before. To me, that's the same thing.
Everyone is same, but you can have ideas that are unique.
And there's your big mistake: Nobody is the same, that's what makes us unique: We have different bodies, different tastes, different talents, different likes and dislikes, and the list of differences goes on and on. Ideas aren't unique nowadays anymore, whenever you do something you can be pretty sure that someone has already done something similar before.
Stop trying to force your uniqueness, everyone's already unique and there's nothing wrong with being influenced by others. Because if you like it or not, you are being influenced by everything around you all the time; you would have to live in a isolated cell from your birth on to not be influenced in your opinion by any other person.

i don't care. I still like smeyers i don't hate her books. I still get hyped up for the movies, or still talk about it if it ever comes up. Why the hell are you arguing with me. I am one of those people who follows this quote, "I don't believe it. Prove it to me and I still won't believe it." no matter how much you try and argue and state your point, my opinion still won't change. If you don't care you shouldn't go around and try to convince people that you disliked disliking popular things before it was trendy.

There is no such thing as a "own opinion" concerning facts, please learn to think.
And people can have very inspiring and wonderful and "simple" conversations here, I have many every single day. You did the wrong thing by thinking that the Complaints forum is the right way to proclaim your uniqueness (without even lurking before -.-).
