You are very welcome! I am indeed, rather busy, and a little pressured, but alright. Yourself?

Good afternoon, Jordan. Greetings to you in Southern California from Northern California. (I used to live there many years ago.) Thank you for the llama, and thank you especially for sharing your own artistic style and techniques. There's a lot of lightness and fun to your work.
Cheers,
Ed

Thank you so much for your kind words, Ed! I hope Northern California is treating you well. Your hand studies and Bees on Almond Blossoms are lovely! I hope you have a wonderful day.

Thank you so much for theΒ Β andΒ Β ! I appreciate the support ^^
You have such a lovely gallery! Keep it up! I can't wait to see what you do next [:
(I've always wanted to try the "shadow boxes". I've created template designs for later, but haven't had the chance to put them to the test. Yours look absolutely gorgeous.)

Of course! And thank you so much for the watch as well I saw your profile picture and thought it was such a lovely, expressive piece I had to watch you. Plus we both like Kingdom Hearts!
Thank you so much! And please do try out shadow boxes! They're a ton of fun and just a really cool medium in general. I'd love to see any you came up with!

You're a KH fan, too? Awesome! Seriously such a fantastic series. [:
You're studying animation? That's awesome! I was thinking of starting that major but decided to go toward the conceptual track for illustration. Super miss it sometimes, though. ^^' It's a ton of work, but animation was great-- especially when you get to see your work come to life!
And thanks! I agree. The interesting thing is, I actually haven't seen very many shadow box pieces, so it's always exciting to come across new pieces! Paper-crafting is what piqued my interest. It's fantastic what you can do with the design and depth ^^ Like I said, I'm excited to see more of your stuff as well!

Yep, I'm one of those crazy fans who'll go to any KH related anything.
I debate between illustration and animation too! I love both fields, but I think my heart is in animation (we'll see when I finally get to go to my animation class for the first time tomrrow). Where do you want to go with your conceptual illustration?
Have you seen Hari and Deepti's pieces? They're some of the only people who are popularizing the medium, and they were my first introduction to it. Thanks so much!

Haha I hear ya! Just waiting on KH3... (It's been rough, but it will be worth it! I'm excited to see the new engine they've been working on. Those colors are looking amazing!)
Cool! I hope animation goes well for you! Like I said, it feels so great to watch your work come to life on the screen. [: I hope to someday work on conceptual designs for movies /games, or even book illustrations. Maybe someday-- it would be great to start a studio with friends to work on getting some of our stories and ideas out there. It feels like a long road before it comes to that, but I'm so excited for these classes! I feel like I've already learned a ton in just the few short weeks we've started... What would you like to do with animation?
Hmm... I've actually never seen their artwork before O.o I found their FB page and started to follow their work ^^' Some of the designs seem so complex but are still so readable. It's beautiful. (I love finding/learning about new artists. Thanks for the ref!)

You're very welcome! My pleasure I'm looking forward to what dabbles you come up with I think I'm staying a dabbler, because yes it really is fun...and my degree is totally not art related lol. But being able to do creative ish things comes in handy lol.Β

Thanks! It's really good to dabble because you'll never find out you like anything new unless you try new things. I wouldn't have found papercraft if I hadn't dabbled in it to begin with I think everyone should try art things no matter what their job is! It definitely does come in handy (like all the DIY stuff everyone's into nowadays).

This is all very true. I don't know how many things I've had to do for people all arts related...making t-shirts, bulletin boards, crafts, lettering things, etc etc. It's all very fun though I'm glad I took art in high school Β
