Sourrr, got any skin shading/coloring methods you recommend? Stuck on an artwork of mine and i cant find anyone to help man..

Hmm well I'm not particularly good at digitally shading skin, but here's what I do. I basically add the skin color and the color of the reflection and just smudge it using the brush tool until I get the result I want. Like, I don't use the blur tool or anything, just smudge it with a regular brush. It gives it a more natural look in my opinion. Keep in mind the places where you need to add sharp light reflection, like the edge of the face, maybe on the nose. Leave sharper brush strokes around the cheek bones for a more defined look. Check out my "Rogue" piece and click on "Download" for the full resolution and look at the face to see what I mean. Hope this helps!
