He's 9 months old
He started to sleep full nights after 3 months but 3 months later he stopped
Then again, things have been better for the last 3 nights. I don't want to say it too loud though as I'm afraid it'll bring bad luck

Haha they really grow FAST, don't they? Especially at first, but then, time moves more quickly the older we get, too!
I'm told that the "cry it out" method is perfectly harmless after six months.

They do grow fast and time really flies by. That's a bit cliché but still true...

To be honest, we didn't have much choices about the "cry it out" method.
It was that, dying of exhaustion or doing something really bad.
But yes, I read somewhere that you really shouldn't do it before 6 months while you could start considering it after 7-8.
Then again, I also read that parents should leave their baby crying if that was the only way to prevent a nervous breakdown (I think we were close to that stage)

Good point about the nervous breakdowns! I didn't consider that. You're right, leaving the baby in that situation is definitely the right choice -- and I completely understand why some people snap and hurt their children. Not that this makes it okay, but stress is definitely a huge contributor. We should all have the humility to take whatever help we can get.

Can only agree with all of that! I love my baby but when you haven't had a full night sleep in months and hear him screaming at 3AM every time you try and get out of his room, you start picturing awful things.

Oh man. Once I flew from Warsaw, Poland to Minneapolis, then drove six hours, all without sleeping. That was it for me. I was so aggro and hateful. I was making up curses that didn't even make sense and hating on a guy because he told me A JOKE.

I'm sharing my time betweew work and family. I (with my wife) had a baby last year and it's taking quite a bit of time from us as you can guess.

Haha, that's fine, I can handle the english. ^^ Je parle le francais seulement chez moi, et j'ai quittee la France tres jeune, alors je n'ai pas eu de chance de apprendre la grammaire. Et personne veut me corriger !
