I have several reference photos of a fence like this and I want to do a miniature painting in different scenery.  Your painting is an excellent reference and looks great in miniature. So glad you shared. Thank you.

I absolutely love this response. This is wonderfully written an expresses what I would like to say to my followers. I never know what to say to people who "watch" or "fav" my artwork, here or on Facebook.  I hope you don't mind, but this response is so nice, I want to use it as a reply to people who encourage me in my artistic endeavors as well.

I'm glad that you think it was well written and expressive

I always used to get stuck for what to write and would leave it as a "Thank you for ______" and leave it there.

However, I decided to add a bit of personality and actually put some effort in!

By all means! Use it to your heart's content! I'm glad that you think it's nice enough to use for yourself!

Believe it or not, yes, its true.  I was so busy with Stupid Facebook.  I really don't like them anymore.  I wanted to set up my facebook so that I would have more communications with artists and art sites.  I guess on Facebook, now you have to "like" or "unlike" or respond to every single person, ad, or meme, or Facebook "unfriends" them for you without your knowledge.  This is a much better format so far for communication with likeminded people.  I'm getting use to things, because Dev. Art is something I haven't used all this time, (that's all Facebook does now, is take up your time) but I like this much better so far.  I am also getting used to people's art and digital art. My children are into Manga Art, and my son is more into anime. At 64 years young, it not easy for me to get into it.  Don't think I will ever, but its fun to see it all anyway. There are so many different types and styles of art here.  I like it very much.

Ah, thanks for the explanation.  I agree that deviantArt is a much better site for exposure to different types of art and for communicating with other artists.  If you haven't done so, I'd suggest checking out (and possibly joining) Groups that feature art that appeals to you and that would feature your art as well.  If you've got questions on how to do that, please feel free to ask.
