I truly miss you too - so much.
I have been really down for a very long time now, and I'm really letting it ruin so much. I am doing my best to come through it though, and I so appreciate hearing from you! I wish I was being a better friend to you; I've been so distant. I apologize! You have always been so wonderful and I love that I am so lucky to know you!!

Your artwork is absolutely beautiful, by the way; your use of colour and light is so eye-catching and astounding - you really have a strong understanding of it. I also just had to say...I have that same large stuffed octopus, haha. I named mine Diego. I had that squid as well, but I gave him to my younger cousins, who just totally love him! : D

Aw, thank you so much for your feedback!! C: I discovered how colored lights and shading change a lot in the image some time ago, and now I'm kind of addicted to it, haha.

Less skil-- psssshh, nonsense. You are a wonderfully skilled artists. It is no easy thing to use watercolour and effect light and tones. I certainly would not know where to start with that. Actually I've just never been able to paint at all. Your art, and the art of tons of others here is beautiful and worth that recognition. Sometimes, I think, DA can be a little too big for it's own good; it becomes much too easy for people to feel very lost in the sea of millions of other artists, and it creates a negative, kind of 'isolated-in-a-crowd' feeling. The way I view DA, it's mostly for me - it helps me to organize and categorize my work through the years, so that I may see where and how I've grown and evolved. The fact that I get to see that process in others as well is a beautiful additional opportunity! 

You are a very skilled cookie, and I am just another user in the ether, who appreciates the efforts you make. C :
