WELCOME TO MY PAGE :D hope you had no trouble finding the place... I will steal your cookies, but first, a few fun facts about me!My name is Darcelle, but most people call me Darcie, and I was born in Harlem New York and raised on Staten Island. I've been doing poetry for about.... as long as I can remember... I am a published poet!!! This just happened a while ago but its awesome because its a huge milestone in my future as a writer. the name of the book is Poet Linc Poetry Slam and yes, I am in it! Its published by Black Dog Publishing... just thought id give a shout out.. so yeah... tid bit of into
I just recently started with short stories because I do have A.D.D. and I feel that short stories are more my speed because I can crank at least three out on a good day. My biggest inspiration would have to be a slam poet I met twice. Once in a poetry slam, she was the icebreaker poet (so us younglings weren't so nervous) and she did a few poems that just blew my mind. Her name is Ashley August,Poet laurete of New York, and one of these daysI will take her title. This is my main goal... next to singing with Beyonce.... and writing a book with James Patterson.
I play Xbox! My gamertag is Aphroditzy ( Get it? ALSO bee tee dubs, excuse the lack of points because my former account, Boxxylicious just doesn't work and so I had to make a new one... Am working on it as fast as I can!) if you wanna add me and play a few rounds or just chat that's cool!
The main two people that give me hope are God and my friends. I swear I would not be writing without their love. So its never truly just my work. its our work. our project and to any one reading this now, know that words are not enough to thank you for even finding my page. I love you guys with all my heart and some of my stomach because the heart is only as big as a fist...
I LOVE online shopping, and my favorite style is Indie because I feel like its me without trying too hard to please others and I like that.
Right now, I live with my mother, ( awesome lady) big brother (pretty cool dude) and little sister (future guitar queen) My father lives like.... five blocks away with my brand new stepmom (also a cool lady)
