Good to hear Sam! I see you went to Tassie - how was it? I'm fine thanks. I recently spent 2 weeks in Malaysia with one day in Singapore, and gave the cameras a good work out. Are you still working at the same place? I'm still doing graphic design part time and chasing freelance work, which is hard to come by...

Tassie was epic, so epic that I'm going back the week after next with a mate to do the Overland track, 5 day hike through Cradle Mountain National Park!!
Malaysia! Any reason you were there? How was it? Last time (and the only time) I was in Singapore, my camera decided to start deleting photos.. I lost parts of my 2 week Vietnam trip..!
Yep I'm still working in the same place. Nearly 2 years now! Where abouts are you working? Give it 3 months and there'll be some more freelance work I reckon. At least you survived the "GFC"!

Sounds great! Perhaps you could find out if the water over there really does "make things better" as James Boag and co. always claim. Anyway, the only reason I went to Malaysia was because I couldn't be stuffed hanging 'round here for new year's. Sometimes you just have to take a break. And it's a country close by where money goes a long way and everything is cheap, plus I really wanted to explore Kuala Lumpur too. The Singapore day trip was a nice bonus.
I'm still working at the same place near my house and enjoying it, but could use some extra freelance work.
I did survive the GFC, but I unfortunately had to sell my 2 Porsches and a Rolls Royce, old chap!

You know, the water does in fact "make things better"! Unless, of course, if you're in that part of the state where the water is toxic and is poisoning shellfish and humans..
I understand breaks perfectly. That was the reason for my first tassie trip, get away from people, work and stuff. There is just always to much stuff. I hate stuff!!
Pity about your babies, I wouldn't have minded buying the Rolls off you, you should have let me know!!
