You call slavery, pain, torture, deceit, lies, hatred, malice, sadism, arrogancy, selfisness and foolishness, of which he repesents... you call that good?  Good is an attribute of God, not Satan.  Even you enjoy when someone cares for you, a nice spring day, or a good meal.  Satan doesn't provide the things you really desire.  (thats what evil means just in case you dont know)

well... my God created you and me, not Satan.  If you claim that both of them do the same thing, and you hate my God for what He does, then why do you praise Satan, who does thr same thing?  Why dont you hate Satan for what he does too?  Why wouldnt you render to the one who is more powerful?  Your logic is flawed and your reasoning is not sound.

thank you very much.  I had a double-surgery last week, and im in recovery right now.  I had time to completely tear-down all of my old, secular artwork, and I have been in the process of uploading my new stuff over the past week.

I was a tattoo artist for a little over 5 years, and the Lord has brought me from the depths of a horrible pit.  I plan to avenge my disobedience and spend the rest of my life glorifying Him in all that I do.

Yikes!  That sounds very difficult.  I hope you recover well and quickly from the surgeries.

I'm glad to hear about the change in your life.  Are you going to remain in the tattoo industry?  That is a dark place that could use the light and love of Jesus.  Whatever you do, I'm glad to hear that you have made the decision to glorify Him with everything.  I made that decision when I was 19 years old, I'm 35 now and I've never regretted it.

I left the tattoo industry when I quit.  Undoubtedly it is a dark place that needs the light of Jesus.  But I dont have to remain in the industry to shine a light into it.  Strip Clubs need that same light, doesnt mean that it would be ok if someone was a prostitute or exotic dancer for Jesus.

People comfuse the analogy of light into darkness, they think ok it like this... there is a dark room, and Jesus walks into it and there is light.  that is a wrong assessment.  What its more like...is that Jesus is outside of the room, in the light, and His light shines INTO the darkness, He himself never walked in darkness.   By me leaving the industry and changing how I live my life, and walking how God wants me to, that light shines into the darkness and has convicting power.  If I remained in a state of disobedience to God by remaining in the industry, I would really have no light to shine at all.  This is a clear way of seeing the text :

"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:"
-- 1 Peter 2:9

True, you don't have to remain in the industry.  Do you still have connections with some of the people that you knew?  I would imagine that those people would be the ones you could influence in a positive way. Anyways, I hope that your book goes well.   And thanks for the Birthday wishes.

Most of the people I knew were very foul men. The thing is, once I began following Christ, they are the ones who lost contact with me.  One of my childhood best friends of 15+ years, a person I was never separated from for more than a day stopped hanging around me.  I havent seen or heard from him in 3 years.

Being truly sanctified has that effect.  You become set-apart by God.  I have new friends now, and although I may work with non-believers, I am not friends with a single one of them.  This does not mean I am not friendly and good to those who are ailienated from God, it means I do not willingly spend my time to specifically associate myself with that person, or "hang out" with them outside of the workplace.  And anyone who claims to be a Christian, but doesn't act like one, I wont even eat lunch with that person, and try to avoid their presence at all costs.

The book is going very well and youre welcome for the birthday wishes!

That's interesting. I understand where you are coming from.  Yes, sanctification has that effect on people. I think that they get convicted and that is why they stay away.

My husband used to be in the "party scene" when he was younger, before he was a Christian.  He has been a Christian for many years now, but he still hangs out with some of his old friends.  He is the only Christian influence that they have.  They get convicted, but they like being around him, and we've seen some positive changes in them.  I think it is kind of like how Jesus was.  Jesus hung out with prostitutes and tax collectors - the worst sinners in the Jewish culture.  I'm sure that Jesus never went to a strip club or participated in sin, but He did spend time with those people.  The Pharisees hated Him for it.  So my husband tries to follow Jesus' example as best as he can.  Most of his old friends are gone, he just has a few that have stayed in his life and he does his best to be an example for Jesus.
