# About me
Hi & welcome to my page!I'm a 22 year old hobby photographer from Germany.
I work with my two best friends on my photos, so actually there are three people behind schatten-fuchs, who are responsible for the artwork shown here. I started taking photos in 2011, when I bought my own first camera and soon pulled my friends into this. Most of the time they model for me, while I stay behind the camera.
My favorite genre in photography is people and especially anything fantasy, sci-fi and cosplay related. This also applies to movies, TV series and books I like.

- What is your first impression of my gallery?
Your photos are varied in general subject matter, and you have good composition! Your colors are very nice, and the paintings you have are rather realistic. You've certainly improved! Nearly of your images have sort of an eeriness to them.
- Can you point out strenghts or aspects that I improved in?
Well, I'm not very used to critiquing photography, but as stated above, your colors and composition are very good, in my opinion. Your photos seem to be of good quality, and the paintings you've done are, too.
- Which are my weak points and bad habits that need improving?
I'll be focusing on the paintings for this part, but many of your shadows and highlights are a bit too soft. Try to use a harder brush at some points. In Contest Entry: Ysma, the bottom of the painting is so dark that you lose all the detail in Ysma's dress(?), so I'd suggest not going too dark. Your photographs don't have this darkness issue, though.
- Do you have any suggestions what I could do next to make my gallery more interesting and grow as an artist?
I'd say try to vary your subject matter. You seem to focus on eerie photos with girls in them, so maybe try some brighter, "happier" photos or try photographing/drawing some men, or even animals and landscapes!
