actually i have role played before but that was on neopets i think and it wasn't anything serious where you had to submit art. i was pretty bad at it orz (though i think we were doing like high school romances or something ahahaha..)

if they were to make an artbook...it would be nice to have a section for every category of art. im curious as to how pixiv picks their artists. i think for the girls collection books they hold a contest (aka-shiro got in, i saw her art in the book :0)

i thought that it was pretty creepy..how you make the effort to steal another person's pictures and use their words and pretending to be them...that's just wrong (its more like super super identity theft)

oh that's another one of my goals as well, and to publish an art book one day :]
only 2 times lol? i thought it was more than that...and not to mention all the people who try to copy her style and drawings.
btw when you draw stuff, do you do thumbnail sketches? or just draw on a blank canvas to begin with

well certainly not the 2nd time someone's stolen her artwork but the second time someone took her photos and tried to BE her. (the first was the tinierme case? i think)
hmm sometimes...usually if its a picture with a background i might do a thumbnail. but i rarely finish any of those sob

yeah yeaahah i know matabi! im trying to get the hang of drawing buildings. im kind of bad with straight lines, so its difficult ; 3 ; and my perspective is always messed up too. im thinking about using google street view and picking a random street in europe and trying to draw it from time to time haha. grass and trees take so long for me to CG ugheuhg. and to draw, in general (one of my art teachers at school made us go outside and draw trees)
gaah theres so much to improve on its quite discouraging sometimes * flails arms *

oo i totally understand the straight lines thing; but if i try to draw with a ruler, it looks too stiff and made out of a cookie cutter so i tend to avoid anything needing lines orz
i tried doing that actually, but i can't seem to get anything other than an aerial view of stuff. how do you get actual photos of streets?
oh but i think it's kind of fun to be at the level that we are, because then we are able to develop faster and see how much we progressed in a short period of time whereas other artists who are already set in their style/techniques have much slower improvement rates and don't change much

thats true...when you use a ruler you have to be REALLY accurate. like the slightest mistake can really throw you off.
i tried it yesterday! i drew (and didnt finish ._.) a street in paris. you zoom in pretty far into the map until you can see the streets and then there should be an orangy-yellow icon of a person on the zoom thing and you can drag him onto the street you want to look at and you can navigate on there by clicking areas on the picture. its pretty interesting
yes theres still time for us but theres just so much to do, its like have a lot of homework and feeling like youre not going to finish lol

ohh yes 30 sec figure drawing is really helpful (though my figure drawing class that i'm taking right now is about to end, didn't think i improved very much though orz)

community college so the people there only mainly take art to get rid of it as a credit but since it's figure drawing, i still got to do something different

ohoho you should aim to have a variety of types of moves so that you can beat more stuff. and also look at a pokemone's sp. attack versus attack (if you haven't already) to see which one is higher so you can pick moves that correspond with a pokemon's statuses

hmm nope i dont think i actually went on the ship (or i dont remember?) but during the dream i was GOING to go, i think. i have a lot of pointless dreams in random places and there are always people i know inside of them (which is why i dont believe in the "if you have a dream about someone, that means they were the last think you were thinking about before you fell asleep" thing)i tried to write down my dreams for some time, but now im just too lazy :'P
i bought a pack of the envelopes from taiwan (so i could mail them to my friend) it was like a 1.5 USD for 50 envelopes

awww. i've never been on a cruise before so i wonder what situations dreams would conjure up. though i haven't heard of cruises to spain; only to places like alaska and the Caribbean countries
oh i used to write down my dreams as well. when i re-read them they were so ridiculous and impossible and i had no recollections of ever dreaming about them (but it was still fun to read)

ive only been on one cruise before to mexico, it was pretty fun...the buffet is open 24/7 so its like infinite foooood *___* but it gets boring sometimes since youre stuck on a boat for a couple of days.

hmm i dont know about that, but some parts of mexico are pretty dirty (just like any country) i remember i went there on vacation before (not the cruise) and the motel we stayed at had sand and dirt all over the floor and in the bathroom and i (4th grade) was really grossed out haha

my brother went to china with an orchestra a couple of years ago and he said one of the hotels had leaves coming out of the faucet in the bathroom lol (not sure where in china though)

leaves out of the faucet is quite funny xD i was thinking more of squatting toilets that i find super weird to use but that works too
yeah that shriek is pretty horrible...if i wasn't used to how vocaloids sounded/knew they existed in general, i would be like okay toyota never buying a car from you. i think they should have gone with a different song too (and a different announcer guy/commerical in general while they're at it orz)
that kind of reaction is definately to be expected. though i did read many otaku-like comments about wanting to buy the car because miku drove it xD;
