Uh....*blushes* I wanted to see a comic but *shrugs* it was off limits. I haven't touched my account for roughly a year and a half and I'm back on it and decided that I could put my art on it but have been too nervous to do so.

I have plenty of writing pieces but I don't want to upload them because I already have them on Fanfiction and Archive of our own. So I kept thinking three places was a bit much. *shrugs*

But Fanfiction.net was my first site I joined so all my stories are there, if anything you should go there to read my work. Archive of Our Own was created because I wanted to write there as well and not all my stories are there yet.

Pfffft. xD I don't get that a lot, excuse me.

Well, I'd be happy to walk you through it. I did the same thing for Star not too long ago~

- I usually have all my written works typed up in Microsoft Word first, so it's quicker to plug in the information as needed. ;w;

- Go up to "Submit" on your menu bar at the top and click it

- In the first blue box that says "Upload your art here", the bottom right hand option should say "Enter text". Click on it~

- A new box called "Enter Text" should pop up. This is where having it all typed up in Microsoft comes in handy - you can copy it from there, and paste it into this new box! However, you may want to look it over before submitting it. DA does not register indentations or single spaces between lines usually. In order to make your work seem orderly, you may just want to check it over quickly. ;u;

-If you think you're done entering text, you can hit the "preview" button found in the lower left of the box. Click that, and it will show you what your writing will look like when you post it, so you don't have to go back and edit it~

-Once you're happy with how everything looks, hit okay, and it will be converted into literature. You can then enter a title (it will use the first few words of the text as a title by default, but you can change that by entering a new title into the box labeled "Title" beneath the "Sumbit Art" portion.

-They require that you select a mature content rating. You can say no or yes, depending on what you've written. If you say yes, it gives you an array of other selections. Like, for example, if your story is gory, you'd select "yes" and then when it gives you the other options, say "violence/gore". The mature content rating can be either moderate or strict, depending on what you think it needs to be classified as. Strict can't be seen by devaints under 18 as far as I'm aware.

-Say what you want in your description~ Make sure you give credit where it's due! People can be real sticklers about it, trust me. >W>

- Keywords are words you can type in to make your work easier to find. The more words you put in that box, the more likely it is for someone to find it.

-Now comes the "Select Category". Now, if you're doing fan fictions, you'll want to say "fan art", which will automatically come up with "fan fiction" for you to select next. (They make the selections pretty specific). And depending on what type of fan fiction it is, your last selection will be drama, romance, horror, etc. (The selections go from left to right btw)

-If you're ever posting something original, just select "Literature" as your first choice, and then make the selections necessary from there~

- Once all that is done, you're ready to submit! Click the submit button at the very bottom, or to the right hand side, and it will load up as a new deviation!


And hun, if you're confused or have any questions at all for me on the matter, don't hesitate to ask. I can always make a visual tutorial if you ever need one too~ ;u;

Yeah, I kinda get the sneaking suspicion that I kinda scare people off with the whole "Read before you comment" box, so it's nice to know who to thank for dropping by and whatnot with that visitor box on the page. xD However, it is pretty effective. Scares off the types of people who really shouldn't be on this site to begin with. Thieves, trolls, you name it, they don't bug me half as much as they used to.

You and me both, chica! Gosh, and my friends too! I have to explain myself to most of them, and sometimes I don't even get through at all! xD Star and I are prime examples - we argue about nearly everything. And yet we're pretty good friends as far as I'm concerned!~

I'll check it out! I've seen a lot of stories on that site, and I have to say it looks pretty good!

But hey, if you've written anything, the feeling is totally mutual! I'd love to read any fics you've written. Sometimes they're even better than the original story. xD

OH GOD THE IMPOSSIBLE QUESTION FOR ME TO ANSWER.
Ummm....I can list a few off the top of my head, because I really can't choose. xD Let's see...Pitch Black, Mandrake, Thrax, Hades, Darth Maul, Buu, Megatron....you name something, and chances are, I favor the bad guy. xD I dunno, it's just a thing I have going on. I like the dark, evil, creepy types. They're so misunderstood as far as I'm concerned. I mean take Mandrake for example. What made him so set on destroying the forest? Where was his wife in the film? He mentioned her when he was lamenting the loss of his son! Oh god, and they murdered his son - didn't it just tear you up inside when he saw it happen? I still hear his scream when I think about it! D8 People completely overlooked those aspects of his life and just labeled him as one of those pointless baddies with no real motivation. It's so sad when you think of what the villains actually deal with, and what people in turn think of them.

Yes! I actually felt my heart tear when I heard him cry out! I wanted to bawl! And my thing Mandrake isn't necessarily evil he has a job to do. He has to spread the rot as well as the queen had to spread the green. It's just like Pitch Black! If children didn't fear death what's to stop them from jumping off a roof without any protection? If they didn't fear being outside a night what's to stop them from getting hurt of freezing to death? NOTHING! The world needed fear and not everything is black and white!

I definetly agree! Who's to say that good guys aren't bad? They break city property all the time and the sneak around. *snorts* it's all a matter of perception.

Oh good god, that scream. No. That just...drove a knife in my heart and twisted it. It was horrible! And EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING.
- Life and death are a cycle that HAS to keep going. It's natural and necessary! What lives must one day die to make way for new life, and Mandrake does that job very well. He's fulfilling his purpose! We can't bash him for that!
- Pitch....oh gosh, he was my favorite in the Guardians movie.... and you're totally right! Without fear, there is no order! More death and destruction, because people wouldn't know what to avoid out of fear! Darkness will always be a force of nature. It has to be! The opposite of the light! And others depend on it! And the nightmares! Okay, if you ask me, Nightmares are better than dreams. Nightmares allow people to face their fears - irrational or not - on a plain that they have TOTAL CONTROL OVER. Pitch's power may scare kids, sure. But in a way, he's helping them grow and keeping them safe! He has every right to be a Guardian with the way he handles his job! His purpose!

....Girl, you have made my day with these words of yours. Your perception on the matter.....it's awesome. Wish I knew someone like you outside the interwebs, y'know what I mean?

I understand completely. The only other person I can get to relate with me are oddly people I find (or find me) and my single best friend but even then it takes a lot of convincing! Thank goodness for her open mind!It took her a year to consider yaoi....but I can be pretty persuasive apparently

I love Mandrake (as a character) I wish they elaborated more on him! I know more about Pitch (and they really don't even go into his backstory) than I do Mandrake! How, when, and the whats are all foggy...which make for great fanfiction but really bad conclusions...

xD I know how it can be with your best friend - Star and I are total opposites. It takes me FOREVER to convince her that there is indeed some GOOD in the bad guys. Even here, my watchers are mostly "good guy" people. I'm one of the only people I know who prefers the villains. Although, yaoi is a bit of a special case for me - I can go for it or against it depending on the characters, but I read them anyway. xD I've never talked to Star about it though - not sure where she stands on it.

But I totally agree! Mandrake - guh, there's so much about him I wanna know! How did he become leader? Where's his wife? Why is he so bent on destroying the forest? What triggered his hate for Ronin? So many things that were left unexplained! Just for the fans to make their own stories~
But Pitch - I don't know whether to like the character more, or the voice actor behind him. xD Either way, he was a great character, and that's what I hate about these kids movies - the bad guy always loses. ALWAYS. >w> It's something that I'm annoyed to expect nowadays whenever I walk into a movie theater.

Well not every bad guy looses, that is, if count people from slasher/thriller/horror films. But anything Disney? Yeah you're out of luck.

The only Disney bad guy character's that were just a hands grip away from loosing were Pitch Black, Mandrake and shit that's all I can think of. But I assure you. If you are to go on fanfiction in the Rise of the Guardians section I promise you won't be disappointed. There are quite a few fanfics were Jack goes with Pitch instead an the world or something like that. But those are usually what people call BlackIce fics. Which means that there WILL be slash. But *winks conspiratorially* I'm sure you'd have no problem with that...

I'm pretty curious as well. I know that Rise of the Guardians was based off a book so I could easily look up more information on that but on Epic? *shakes head* I don't think there IS anymore information.

That is a good point. But those villains don't usually captivate me for some reason, I'm not quite sure why. WHY DISNEY?! WHY DO YOU MAKE YOUR BAD GUYS SO LOVEABLE?! D8 I don't know how they do it, but they do. And they do it well.

But Star showed me some of those. They're pretty good - and the term BlackIce was a lot better than what we had thought of - JackBlack. xDDDD

Actually, Epic was based off a book called "The Leaf Men and the Good Brave Bugs". Though, I think the story line and whatnot was completely remade except for a few things to make it more... I don't even know. It's just a lot different than the books on Rise of the Guardians. THOSE can really clear some things up. Though, I still want to learn more about Pitch. Last I knew, there was no book on him.

Yay!
Jinx has silver hair that basically is white and reaches past below her waist (it's either in a complicated braid or pinned in a complicated hair-do)
She has high aristrocratic eyebrows with gray eyes that have slit pupils (basically think snake)and a rather angular face. Her lips are always a crimson red and in a slight smirk. She never wears any blush and her eyeshadow is usually of dark hues (just not gothic, it's elegant)
Really pale skin and usually is decked out in crimson red and black or just black. She rarely wears dresses but is a fan of long trench coats and really loose shirts (like drapery)
