You're watching Jojo now? EXCELLENT. It's really unknown over here but it's amazing stuff, one of the only manga I still care about at the moment. Yeah it's pretty violent/creepy at times but it's got so much crazy awesome and creative stuff!

And while watching the anime is a good start, as it's an adaption of part 3 of the manga which is where you really get to the good stuff (as the Stands replaced the Hokuto No Ken-like martial arts and vampires from part 1 and 2), I would STRONGLY recomend trying out the manga. It's so much better than the anime. You can safely continue on from part 3, tho' you can read part 1 and 2 as well to get the whole story (part 1 is the backstory to Dio's feud with the Joestars and part 2 is Joseph's adventures during his youth).

Hmm, I usually don't read manga, but I guess I could try it out sometimes. xD

I'm just... still so rusted into my old habit of devouring Elfquest and Donald Duck comics that different formats/reading styles in printed stories tend to irritate and confuse me. >>;

Heh, I only STRONGLY recommend it. The entire series is on onemanga.com, only part 3 has been published in English so far but I doubt you'll find it in a lot of stores. Part 7, Steel Ball Run (currently ongoing), would also be interesting to start with as while it keeps the Stands it offers a very different and generally more detailed type of narrative than earlier parts. It's inspiring to see how much the series has grown in art and storytelling over the years. [/end propaganda]

And DONALD DUCK! <3 Anyone who didn't read Donald Duck never had a real childhood! I recently dug up and reread my De Jonge Jaren van Oom Dagobert comics. I love Don Rosa's gritty and detailed artstyle and his expansive storytelling, it's always a delight to read his work.
