Favorite visual artist: Classical? Van Gogh. On deviantArt I'm a pretty hardcore efleck fangirl, this is well known. ^^Favorite movies: The Lion in Winter, 12 Angry Men, Rope, The Usual Suspects, Boondock Saints, Most anything Disney or Pixar animated, mostly the older stuff for the later. Gah, too many to list!
Favorite TV shows: The West Wing, Law and Order, Law and Order: SVU, Game of Thrones... now that I have kids it's hard to keep up with much of anything new.
Favorite bands / musical artists: My tastes in music are eclectic and catholic (not as in the religion, ahem) so, eh, too hard to list. I dunno, the last couple of bands/artists that came up at random on iTunes: Florence + the Machine, RHCP, Gorillaz, Elgar, Greg Laswell and Static X.
Favorite books: Can't list them all! To Kill a Mockingbird, a LOT of classics, a lot of fantasy, a little sci-fi.. big fan of Laurie R. King's Mary Russel series.
Favorite writers: Urmph, I give up. I read voraciously. Biggest influences? Harper Lee, Jane Austen, C.S. Friedman, Laurie R. King, Diana Gabaldon's earlier books.
Favorite games: Video games? Mass Effect and Dragon Age. TT? oWoD, Mage. Board games? Trivial Pursuit, Risk and Clue. ^^
Favorite gaming platform: PC!
Tools of the Trade: A really good thesaurus, spell check and Paint.Net on occasion!
Other Interests: Free range hamsters. Seriously: Did you know they stampede in the wild? I will call my life well lived and complete when I start, witness and wrangle a hamster stampede. XD
# About me
Once upon a time my biggest dream was to become a published author. I've been writing in some way, shape or form since I was in grade school. Then I got married and had a baby (actually I had a baby and refused to marry until my dear SO lived with me pregnant and then me and a newborn and made sure he was really in for the long haul before I married him ;) ). Moved around a lot. Had another baby. Now the oldest is 5, the baby is 3 and I finally have time to write again so I've been back at it, testing the waters and flexing my muscles with FanFic. Though I'll eventually want to branch back into my own creations. Trying to convince the husband to co-write something with me. ^^There you go! That's me.
