Well, i know how u feel, kinda been there but not, my parents kinda let me do what i wanted as far education... although we had difficulties when it came to high school subject choices
to be honest... do u really want to do photography of vet nursing
in the end its YOUR life... not theirs... My mother said that tonight to me if that helps.... its just me the creative one too btw!
Right tho... as far as you go, make yourself and other happy, be aware not everything for financial gain

Or, make your parents shortterm happy( while they see your rich but soon not long term happy)


Please comment back tho... I really do relate to u on aspects!

its so difficult, i really want to do what i love which is photography but then at the same time i want to make my parents happy.... im an A+ student and to them marks is everything and having a good paying job is aswell, i like vet nursing aswell and im doing a certificate II in vet nursing as well as school, the course is great and ive learnt so much but again its photography i love more.... im just really uncertain on what i want to do make my parents happy or myself ???

Honestly... youself no one else, its your life, not theirs... also in the longer term you're not goin to living with them forever so make yourself happy. ultimately they re happy if u are.
I'm quite strong minded so when it came to my course my parents kind of knew to leave me to it! but at the same time now im doing the course, they dont really have a clue what i do(graphic design btw ) or how i do it but they see me likin it and are my biggest critics! its a really good feelin when u make them proud, like my poster won to become the college art expo show, see my beauty, declanmair.daportfolio.com As far as you go tho... photography is soo much harder to make money in... its not stable and you're likely to work for yourself plus a parttime job... to be honest tho i see it all part of the adventure! ...

thank you so much for that lovely comment, you make me feel that my photography is important... the strange thing is ive only been doing photography for 6months and i personally dont feel like many people like it which makes me sad, you comment has made me feel special and like i can continue with it
