You know I mainly draw... CRAP (well, not literally but you know, my stuff aren't that good (especially compared to yours!). Well, I mainly draw Yaoi/BL stuff... (I hardly draw girls) and if you do not like this subject, please remove me from the watch T_T (I know I have a lot of watchers who hate this subject..., but they have stuck with me still >_

Please, do not look down upon your work. Healthy sense of self-criticism is good thing but... not loving one's own beautiful work and calling it crap looks always really saddening to me. Of course making art is is not always easy, but when one got love and passion for what she does, she is guaranteed to become better artist. Artmaker who do not love her work seldom is a good artist.
I genuinely think you're good artist Rin, and your passions to your art is visible in your works. You could use a little more self-confidence, that's all. There is no reason for you to not be proud for your work

Oh, and you do not need to worry about the BL/slash content. I found your gallery from Chosokabe/Mouri group through that one BL drawing you had posted there. I thought it was very sexy, hah hah; to put it in shorter words I'm 100% into BL, like I'm into fem-slash and het-pairings too. Gender of lovers in fiction do not really matter to me, if only their story is good, I'm most likely enjoying every bit of it.

I'm sure that every artists torment when they start to see their mistakes due time - at least it's mine too xD Learning from mistakes is said to be effective, but it do not take away that it's a bit embarrasing anyway.

Oh yes, I saw that ChikaxNari. Gosh, that pairing is my guilty pleasure as Sengoku Basara fan, my OTP. I really like both characters and their relationship as quite bitter rivals. Seeing them through yaoi-goggles is at the same time so cractastic and strangely tragic T^T...

Oh, Reik is fine - I go some sites under nickname Reikyavic, so Reik comes from there.

OHHHhhh! you are another Chika x Nari fan?!!? (oh no! lol - I am not a big fan of Nari-sama... but my close friends are so... I end up drawing them.... (NOOOOOOOO! lolol). My favourite is Date Masamune X3 (drooool!) and I love Aniki too (i guess they're quite similar in few areas) so when I saw your Aniki drawing, I immediately fell in love! XD

Learning a new when you think you're doing right is pretty hard - I know I'm always struggling with this xD

I generally like every character in Basara - but yeah, that do not take away that I do admit that Motonari's actions and behavior are more than bit atrocious sometimes D= I hope Capcom would have been shown us new sides of him like they did with many other characters in Sengoku Basara 3 - I am certainly interested in Motonari's loneliness issues; when mentioned and usually it is Motochika mentioning it no less, that seems to be only time he drops that stoic and cold demeanor.

I haven't been sure how to concern Masamune for long time now... He is not bad character - I very much liked his guts in very first game, but lately I've become part of those fans who have become a litte annoyed by the constant and extravagant limelight around him - getting special treatmen from creators or game (like Masamune having 6 endings in Sengoku Basara 3 where join posterboy Yukimura got just 2) and anime, and 'stealing' other characters roles, like him instead of Ieayasu killing Hideyoshi in anime. I am aware thet he is fanfavourite, and so on, but I think changing him like this has been mistake from Capcom... In a way more they try to make him 'cooler', more Masamune just loses his edge, or that's how it seems to me. I really wish we could have 'old' Masamune back T^T

But enought of my ranting now. I wish I would have more time and better ideas for drawing aniki more: if I have someone to call favourite character that's him.

haha. wow thanks for your insight on your opinions about the characters X3 It was an interesting read!

I think I mainly like Masamune-sama for the Voice Actor (Nakai-san) - I know, that's a lame thing to say, but I like the Oushu-pair regardless. I haven't played Basara3 so I'm not sure about the sekigahara people (mitsunari,iyeyasu etc). Not really liked the second season of anime basara...... aaaaanyway, I think Basara is very much geared towards FUJYOSHI (girls who like BL).

I've got TOUZAI ANIKI's (date and chika) drawings that needs to be done for a LONG time... ;A;
That piece quite hard to colour so it's on hold... forever haha! I need to get back to it! >.<

I look forward to your Aniki pics when/if you are going to do it XD

Well... Samurai Champloo is one of my absolute favourites, and I always effin loved Mugen's voice - as same man voices Masamune I guess same goes with Masamune's voice too <3 And Kojuurou is the lovelies badass there is, along aniki he is one of my favourites. Oshu-pair is great, it's just that I don't like what Capcom is doing to it's own character. Well, whole series, alltogether because you're right at that; the amount on blatant and shameless fanservice running wild in this series is huge today. I do not mind and I even like little and subtle fanservice, but too much is too much, and I'm sure it is spoiling this game for example from good portion of male audience =/

Oh, I'm going to. I have like thousand sketches oh Aniki laying around waiting to be completed, and actually few of Masamune too

Basically the story of Samurai Champloo is that three strangers band together to travel across the late Edo era Japan in sech of 'samurai who smells like sunflowers'. It's better that I make it soud and it has much more to it that I could tell, and I would highly recommend it.

Hah, I know, I try my best to make myself work faster^^' And once you've free fom your urgent things, we could maybe do that collab of Masamune and Aniki. I think that would be perfect subject and choice of character
