Your german sentence was a bit wrong, it would be:
Ich bin froh, dass du nicht tot bist!
It's not a relative-clause, the "dass" doesn't go with a noun.. There are a lot of verbs,
which mark the beginning of a "dass"-sentence.. not sure how this sentences are called in english XD
Verbs like this are glauben, hoffen, beten, denken... MANY verbs..!
also "sein", but more like "gefühl + sein"
..you write a feeling, like "froh" and then "sein".. for example:
Ich bin froh, dass..
Ich bin traurig, dass..
Ich bin glücklich, dass..
And when there is a "dass" or "das" introducing a subordinate clause, you put the verb at the end:
Ich bin froh, DASS du nicht tot BIST.

ok, thanks! i will try harder next time. also, sorry it has taken me so long to get back on here, i was sick. i almost missed a whole project, but, my teacher has a skype so, i i got to talk with my group and share our slide show and the rest of our project with the class. i even got to take part in some of the games!!! it was so cool to see every one at school and still be home, although, i couldn't get my web cam to work, so they couldnt see me, but in the shape i was in , it might have been for the best that way.

its ok..... his name is Eleazar. He is russian. cool huh? his full name is really cool, its Eleazar Terazcavitch Tikhomirov. he is the most thoughtful bf EVER, example, at the time we had only been dating for 3 weeks or so, but for christmas he got me a costume made bracelet from ITALY!!!! He is so awesome, he is always holding the door open for me and telling me how much he loves me...he NEVER makes sexual jokes. And NEVER is sexual towards me...he is VERY respectful of me. he is very affectionate, he likes to hold my hand and hug me, he sometimes kisses me on the top of my head when i feel sad. we have kissed on the lips though, we where on a date and we where exchanging christmas gifts...then we where just sitting on the couch together in starbucks waiting for his dad to pick us up and take me home. (i planed this whole thing out) i said "can i have my birthday present now?" (my birthday is the 29th of dec.) and he was all "oh no!!!i thought.. .y..you told me not to get you one..i..i.." and so i said "you did get me one..." he said "huh?" and i said "potsuloue mehnea" (kiss me in russian, srry i would wright it in russian but i dont have russian key board) and he was all.."uh...you wanna go out side to.." i nodded and we went out. he told me he was really nerves and that it was his fist kiss, so i just told him it was mine too and then we kissed.

lol, thanks, we have been dating for a month as of the 6th. any way, you would say "happy late birthday" in english....its kinda lame, any way, i love how much you said the word "cute" i counted 6, but then again i didnt really look that hard...

english tips: when you said "doesn't get any sexual" it would sound funny to an english speaker. you would just say "doesn't get sexual" or "is not sexual" or even "is not very sexual"

and also when you said "i wish you two so much luck" i mean, it was really good and 100% correct but it seems irregular....i hear people say "i wish you two the best of luck" you hear that very often here and it sounds more natural...like ...it would make you sound more like a native speaker.

so what about you, do you have a boyfriend?

ha! that kinda sounds like me when i talk in general. Ya see, i have some weird speech thing, and some times, when i am talking really fast or just not concentrating on what i am saying, i say stuff really mixed up. for example, i said this when my friends where over and we where watching some hetalia germany vid on youtube and prussia was all on top of germany and looked like he was gonna rape him or something, and my friend emma and i (at the time, not anymore) called our selves prussia and germany, so i said to her "why are you be always a raping me?!".................sad is it not?
