Hey!!! Sorry it took so long to get back to you on this! Really, I don't actually have a good answer for this aside from the cliche one... which is just to practice it! I myself don't even have that much confidence in my background work. It's all just working from reference, re-sketching a few times, and then crossing my fingers in hopes that it all works out alright.

Just practice at it and you'll improve!! <3 and if you ever need tips or pointers, I'd be glad to help!
