It's been years since I last commented here.
Your work has always been such an inspiration to me. It's all so incredible. Seems like the days ofΒ Remfield and the HMS are done, but your current work's even better!
Good chance you don't remember me, 'cause the only time we ever really spoke was with just a few short back and forth messages yearsΒ ago. But I just wanted to comment on how you've really been an inspiration.

Oh thank you so much! HMS has become my magnum opus, Rathuni, and I work on the script from time to time. My current comic is Hoof Fellas, and after that will be Tamino and the Magic Flute, then a visual novel called The Devil in Vienna, and THEN Rathuni. I honestly should get on this site more to announce to you guys what I'm doing.

Sure sounds like you've got yearsΒ worth of stuff lined up. I know from experience that Visual Novels can be deceptively hard to work on. But it can be a very interesting medium once you delve into it.

I'm using Tyranobuilder currently, which takes away a lot of the programming, thankfully. It only comes in when you want to do something a little more complex.

I've had a lot of success with Ren'Py. It is superΒ awkward to use at first due to its weird format, but after a little bit of time getting use to it, the engine can make stuff super fast. It's got an entire programming language in it... but it's all optional to use, and has everything normal to visual novels (image moving, text, ect.) all done without programming.
