Oh mormons. The mormons I know tend to be pretty nice too, though I know fuck-all about the religion besides what's on that one episode of South Park.

I suppose the whole thing about the Native Americans shouldn't be that surprising though, most people in the US way back when weren't that brilliant about those sorts of things...

I edumacated myself hardcore because of The Book of Mormon musical, knowing makes it more hilarious, plus I like fact-checking the musical and the episode, both of which check out well.

I never said anything about Mormon people today. I'm well-aware they're not all blonde AMericans, that's the point of missionary work, but God only changed his mind about black people in 1978 after all

You obviously haven't studied my book better than I have, because if you had, you would have come across 2 Nephi 26:33, which says "...and He inviteth them all to come unto Him and partake of His goodness; and He denieth none that come unto Him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and He remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile." You know why Joseph Smith's followers were so persecuted? Because they were adamantly opposed to slavery. Smith himself said that the practice of slavery "makes my blood boil". Of black people, he said "They have souls, and are subjects of salvation," which was pretty radical considering the time. He also appointed a black man, Elijah Abel, to the High Council of his first church.

Again, nice try. Don't feel too bad, though; you are far from the first religion-hater to lose a debate with me.

Way to put words in my mouth. You're coming off as a huge idiot, which is unfortunate, because as someone who actually HAS studied the Book of Mormon, I've come to love the religion despite the horrible man that founded it and how much bullshit is in it.

Nowadays, the worst part of your religion is people like you who get offended when people bring up your past. Accept it, move on, and live life. Don't get butthurt, because that's specifically AGAINST your religion.

So far I've just built a lot of really big mines. I built an island fortress too once, but I didn't like the world it generated in (caves EVERYWHERE and I couldn't find any iron or coal even in deep and complex mines).
