Hello! I'm going through favorites I've missed in the past and thanking people, so bear with me for taking so long to give a personal reply.
Thank you SO much for your support by adding my first daily deviation to your favorites back in 2012. A long time ago, I know! But I had to thank you sometime!
This is a formal invitation to come and see where my gallery has gone since then, since I believe I've vastly improved. If you don't care for it no harm done and I won't bother you anymore.

I'm no longer interested in beadwork, personally, but I congratulate you for your creative growth.

Of course. I love seeing your face-ups. I'm so jealous ^^ it must've taken lots of them to get so good.

Funnily, I was doign two for a friend of mine last night and we figured it out I've been doing face ups on and off for about four years in total but seriously for about two now! Sadly she had to dash off before I could snap some pictures of them >< But thankyou very much!

In reaction to your comment on Chavezy's doll-in-progress: If you are looking for a chea material to make a doll, try papier-machΓ©. You don't need to bake it (no exploding in the oven), it's not as fragile as air-dry clay and you can sand it, carve it, drill it... I used it for dolls before and it's a wonderful material. You kind of need to get used to the texture though, it feels more like dough instead of clay.

I make my own papier mache clay using ground paper pulp mixed with flour. It stinks and wrinkles like crazy, but I'm used to the smell. But thank you. I'm not sure what post you're referring to.

I was referring to this one: [link]
I used flower and (toilet) paper as well, and for large projects it's still a good, cheap method. But for my dolls I use a papier-machΓ© that comes like a powder in a bag. When you add water you get this dough-like substance that is pretty much the same stuff regular paper is, before it is pressed and dried. It smells a lot less. I'm not sure if they sell it where you are living, but it might be worth a shot if you'd want to get rid of the smell
Anyway, good luck on your doll project(s). I took a look at your gallery and I loved your bunny.

n.n Thanks! As for buying papier mache, no thanks. I'll do it the hard way. I like grossing out my mom.
PS you can have the bunny. I think she's on sale on etsy (stosphia's studio)

Haha that's a good reason
I'll have to pass on the bunny I'm afraid... She's very cute, but as long as I am still making (and thus not selling) any dolls myself I'm kinda broke ^.^'
