Hey there. Just saw your question about stencilmaking. Theres a lot that goes into it, but what I do is find or take pictures, and get them into photoshop or some kind of photo program. get the picture into grayscale and play around with the contrast. you may need to use the dodge/burn tool to highlight certain parts, just play around with it. if you're doing more that none layer, the cutout filter is really helpful. Then, just print it out. If its just a normal 8x10, then that s fine, but if you want to do something big, you can change your print settings to fit to however many pages you want, and then put it together. for applyiing the print, you'll need some spray adhesive. use that and get it on some manilla folder, card stock, or bristol board for bigger stuff. do not, under any circimstances, use corregated cardboard. Its a nightmare. You dont want your stencil to be too thick, because it's hard to cut, and you'll have to forsake a lot of detail. Too thin (ie. paper), will fall apart and is also a bitch to cut. so you want to look for something with the thickness of about a manilla folder.

Then, get your stencil onto whatever you're spraying on with a LIGHT coat of spray adhesive. This prevents underspray, and makes a world of difference in making your stencil look nice and clean. Take the stencil off gently, and you're basically done. Just be careful of under and overspray, and you should be good. Hope this is helpful, if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.
