Oh you know, CRAZY.

I'm in the middle of one of my practicums, which involves teaching high school. I forgot how ridiculous kids (people) were at this age. Mostly it's just busy with all the planning and whatnot, but I will survive. Life is good in general!

Wow, good to hear it's generally going well. I can't even imagine trying to teach high schoolers, so I wish you all the luck! Which subject are you teaching, again?

Eh, I'm in the process of working on my transfer applications--I'm almost done with two years of community college, and I'm going to apply to a university in Seattle for another two years. I have a job at my school's library for now, so I've been a little crazy as well, considering I'm studying two languages. But I'm doing great because spring is here and that means I'm in a much better mood.

It's not my first choice, I'd pick middle school if I had a choice - not to mention I had a real easy time with the younger kids as well.

Thats awesome! Which languages are you studying? Is it just a straight Modern Languages degree or something to that effect?

Tell me about it, I'm about done with snow so the spring weather is definetely welcome... Always brings the mood up! ^^

I dunno, the way I see it, math can be either hell, or really satisfying. Depending on which math, how much time you want to put into it, etcetera. xD

Yeah, it's a linguistics program, but probably pretty comparable. I'm studying Russian and German right now, but what I really want to study is Polish. Unfortunately, it's not offered in too many places, so right now I'm basically trying to learn on my own over long breaks and things. It's pretty fun. Pronunciation is killing me though (of course)

Everyone can do math, it's just a matter of presenting it in different ways, or more than once until someone understands and can follow. The trick is to get it before they're frustrated and just don't care to pursue it anymore It CAN be fun! Sometimes....maybe.....

Have you tried Duolingo? It's this free site that a friend of mine uses, she's trying to learn something to the effect of a dozen languages. Anyways, she thinks it's really useful - no Polish though =/

See I have trouble retaining languages. I did 4 years of mandarin in high school and now can only remember bits spoken, and very little written. Did some Spanish in University as well, but I only recall the basics and tourist Spanish I use in Mexico! Oh well. Some are just better at those sorts of things I suppose!

Oh....Very very very busy. =S Im now supervising the coffee shop, so thats not so bad...I just kinda stand around and jingle my keys for amusement College is decent, I mean its only 3-4:50 3 days out of the week, except wednesdays and Fridays when Im at the middle school doing my practicum (Im taking an education degree) Oh, and of course the girlfriend takes up some time too ^^ Shes a writer actaully, youd approve. Mostly Harry Potter fanfics though, thats her obsession heh. All the male/male pairings scare me off, Im not sure I wanna read. As it is Steph made me read one of her "Drarry" (Draco/Harry) The other day, and it was actually really good...plotwise. Which scares me that I think that D= *runs into wall*

Hm, yeah personally I don't care if characters are initially gay, but when fanfiction tries to turn straight characters gay (Draco Harry) etc, that bothers me.
