Ahh shoegaze you ask, I guess some good examples would be The Jesus And Mary Chain, Spacemen 3, Sonic Youth..kinda. Umm I think Ride is a good one. Basically music that only sounds really f'n good when your ruined or drawing, or even drawing while you're ruined!!

wow, i never realised that i didnt get notified when peple comment on my page, i havnt been checking it, hehe
um, i been tryng, but im not sure where to start, could you give me some pointers?

say u start with lineart. do u lay down a base colour? is it okay to shade with white and black transperencies? and why is it so hard to give detail and texture?

Heh, lots of questions. As for lineart, it's in my tutorials, but I scan hand-drawn images and put up the contrast. That's my lineart. Detail and texture is hard because you need references. I always lay base colours and build it over again and again, adding detail with a finer brush every time. The best thing to do is experiment. Don't forget I have plenty of tutorials and advice.
