hi, i saw that you were a nito user.
and im thinking of learning it myself (since ive been doing ittouryu for the past 10 years), any tips?

but i have to start from making my own short shinai, since my association doesnt do nitouryu. lol

Well, a most useful thing to do, even if seems stupid, is watching videos of nito jigheiko. You can learn a lot from these videos. An important thing is wield the daito (the long sword) in the hand that you use to write. Basically beacuse you have much strenght in that hand that in the another. At last... try to pay a visit to Toda sensei xD

paying a visit to toda sensei would be nice xD
at the moment, ive been able to take the ittouryu to a different level. instead of staying strictly with "kendo" i have been incorporating a lot of kenjyutsu. Those japanese kendo and kenjyutsu magazines really help.
