I feel personally cheated that you did not win the 'Letters to Myself' contest.

To reiterate a cliched saying, you can't win 'em all.
To be fair, some of those entries were quite amazing. But you know what? The entry I wrote was something I wouldn't have done myself without the motivation of the contest. It pushed me to see how much I could actually write about myself (and still be honest) and how much of the past I still liked to keep buried. It was an eye opening experience for me, and whether I won or not, I still feel like I succeeded in challenging myself.
But thank you for thinking that.
