i know what you mean. i'm lucky i don't have to pay what most pay for this school, that's really the only reason i'm here. ironically enough it turned out to be the best of my cheapest options (fin aid).

well if having good taste, and a preference for peace and fresh air, is to be a bumpkin-- then bumpkin be i. it's not like i came from a small town at any rate... in mexico i grew up in a fairly good-sized city (for mexican standards), and then moved to texas and settled in a fairly medium-sized city (in american standards).... the whole urban scene though, hardcore urban is displeasing to my sensibilities. as it should be to anyone that isn't completely desensitized from urban wear, or downright delusional. ugh NYC was the epitome of urbaness... replete with filth, claustrophobic proportions, and the ceaseless infernal NOISE.
