Sure thing! I've used 4 different dyes, and only 3 of them give me the color that I actually want; well, 2 really. I like this Garnier dye-- it's the only one I've used twice, and it's a little dark. It's pretty close to how dark your hair is naturally, actually (on me), so if you wanted to use it you may not need to bleach your hair for it! You can see it when we visit high school this week 
I'll ask Minty about your fanfics. We'll get them to you! (Do you want the versions she tweaked, or your original copies...?)
