So since he's a young deity, I sorta imagined him not being in complete control of his powers, yeah?
Imagine him trying to do mundane human things. What if he's reading a newspaper, but he sneezes/flinches/or just doesn't do any specific trigger and it lights the paper on fire. At first it doesn't bother him too much. But it reaches a point where, for him, where it's infuriating. He doesn't want to touch things like books, cards, papers. Basically anything super flammable. He just basically gives up on trying to do "normal stuff". Which is why his family has fire extinguishers on basically every room. But Willa (his sister) goes and fire proof almost the whole house so he doesn't stress of making a big messy chaos. ;0;

Even around the town they live in, people are like "stay away from the young man or you might get burnt"
Because when he was younger, he'd play with other kids his age, but he would accidentally burn them. So now people immediately get out of his way when in town.
(also because he always seems to be in a bad mood, but he's really not.)
