Ah.. the Llama is just a token of appreciation... doesn't cost anything and they are just collected....on the persons profile page go to the upper right corner and click on the box there..you can then choose to give points, Llamas etc.

at the bottom of the message or reply box you're typing in, at the bottom is an plus sign..click on this and all kinds of emoticons will show up on the right hand side of your screen.. pick the one you want and click on it...it will be placed in the message where the cursor is at that time.
