Ah with me, it was that I had planned on becoming a missionary and everything, was in love with their god. But then when I began coming to the realization that I might be gay, it was if he suddenly stopped speaking to me and just left me alone to rip myself to pieces. This is why I am not one. c;

I am doing alright overall. Just very, very stressed. It is the end of a school semester for me, and these are always very hard.

yeah. well, my eldest sister was bisexual, so she was shunned, and when she was in a car crash (which killed my dad) and she ended up in a coma, the church told us that it was 'God's will' and 'she was a sinner, thus deserved it'. not the best thing to say to a grieving widow whose about to lose her firstborn....
I still read my Bible, sometimes, despite being a pansexual and demi romantic, and it doesn't seem to me that Jesus judged people like us - I mean, he married a prostitute, after all.

I'm sorry you're stressed, end of term is always very stressful and difficult. its the only part of college next year I'm not looking forward to!

That's absolutely disgusting that they treated your family like that. More reasons to never become a part of that religion again. And I'm also very sorry for your losses. :'c

I still on occasions read mine as well, though these occassions are extremely few and far between.

Ha, so what year are you? This is the end of my sophomore year. In fact, today was my last day of classes. I just have a couple exams to take next week.

yeah, they're all not very nice people as it turns out! mmhmm, my aunt is devout Christian, so I go to church when I'm visiting her, but that's it. dad wasn't particularly nice, so he wasn't a great loss. my sister, however, I still miss daily - despite it being 11 years since she passed. thank you anyway.
mmm, same, its mainly when I'm visiting my aunt that I read it, as her family are all pretty devout Christians and I don't want to upset them.
I don't even know I don't know what the American system translates as to British sorry!

Don't they also have four-year bachelor's degrees at British universities? Sophomore is the second year out of four. Junior is the third. Senior is the fourth and final.
